Eightold Urban Resort is hands down one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. It’s like a tropical oasis; beautifully designed, peaceful, and with such a warm, boutique feel. We stayed for a mix of business and leisure, and it was perfect for both. The rooms are so well thought out, with everything you need, and after the blistering heat outside, walking into that cool, calming space was heaven. The bed was ridiculously comfy, and they even did a turn-down service, which was such a nice touch. The restaurant is gorgeous, especially in the evening. It had the perfect ambience, and the food was just spot on every time. The staff were amazing, always so attentive, but never over the top. Anna, in particular, looked after us so well, and the team really went out of their way to make everything seamless. They arranged our whole sunset trip and our day at Angkor Wat, including a guide and tuk-tuk driver, and even made us a packed lunch for next to nothing. Getting into town was so easy. The resort provides a tuk-tuk service that’s free between 6-10 pm and only $1 after that, and it never took more than 10 minutes. Every little detail was just on point for the whole week we were there. They even had a few little surprises for us, and honestly, I got a bit emotional when we left. Five-star feel, but with the warmth and friendliness of a boutique hotel. Would recommend over and over again.

Hotel was beautiful. Rooms overlook a central courtyard with H-shaped pool, and covered restaurant and massage area. The courtyard is lush, green and protects from the sun at all times. Rooms are spotless and comfortable with perfect fan and air conditioning. The hotel runs a tuk-tuk for guests into central Siem Reap nightly from 6pm-10pm free of charge which is a nice touch. What really makes the hotel, however, is the staff. Kane and Nina at the front desk and Kathy and company in the restaurant were courteous and kind on every encounter. The cleaning staff were amazingly efficient also as one morning we went for a massage and our room was cleaned in the hour that we were away. Nothing was too big of an ask. The staff were, without doubt, the most generous hotel staff I have ever encountered.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this resort. The place is incredibly peaceful and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They offer many thoughtful services, including a convenient night shuttle to and from the center. Every single staff member was not only kind and friendly, but also genuinely helpful. They go out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. It’s rare to experience such dedicated service, a special thank you to our personal assistant, Leab, who was exceptional. We also booked a car and requested a guide to visit Angkor Wat, and they really delivered! Our guide, Chamnan, was so knowledgeable and engaging, we couldn’t have asked for better. If you’re looking for a calm, cozy, and caring place to relax, this is it.

The location is excellent for being away from the centre, almost rural. Waking up to the sound of monks chanting, birds singing and chickens crowing puts a smile on your face for the rest of the day. Watching the dragonflies in the evening sunset pursued by flitting bats is magically entertaining. The pool is fantastic and the planting surrounds enchanting. However, the best of the location is the staff: unfailingly cheerful and friendly with impeccable manners and personalised service. Anna in reception, Nick in Restaurant, Kane, Bill, Jasmine and all the rest of the staff (even the Gardners and room cleaners were friendly, polite and efficient) were wonderfully attentive. Services, tours, free transport into Siem Reap all excellent and faultless.

This is definitely one of the best resort stays we've ever been in anywhere. Not only the resort itself is cozy and pretty, the room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The service is top notch from everyone involved. We were assigned a service rep who took care of all our needs there. They gave us a complimentary dinner during one of our stays and the traditional Cambodian meal was delicious! The shuttle tuktuk to Pub Street is complimentary and we just send a WhatsApp message to get picked up and it's there waiting for us to get back to the resort. As we were checking out, they gave us a lovely souvenir. Everything is 10/10, would definitely recommend Eightfold Urban for anyone visiting Siem Reap.
